Looking for Hendersonville TN Homes for Sale with Basement?   We don’t have a lot of basement homes in this area because the soil is so rocky!

Much of the terrain is sloping to hilly, which gives us beautiful scenery.   But, the basement homes that you will find are usually built on a slope, which easily allows for a walk-out basement on one side or rear of the house.

You’ll find a lot of garages in the basement with these type of homes.  If you are interested in new construction homes, always check to see if there are basement lots available.  They usually save the ‘slopes’ for basement construction.

Basements are great, but they are also perfect places for water intrusion.  Be sure to have a thorough home inspection to check for any signs of water damage and/or mold/mildew.  And remember that although it can be done, water intrusion is hard to remedy.
